Unchain The Female Bovine

Many people have told me that it is Okay to rape and sexually abuse/exploit a female bovine because in return we take "care" of them (i.e. bathe them, groom them, feed them, etc.). It is a matter of common sense that non-human animals can and have taken care of themselves very well, and they do not require any human assistance for that. It is also evident from the video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pobAqWCc8Fo) that they can meet their basic requirements and if they feel thirsty then they can quench their thirst on their own given that the Homo Sapiens haven't chained them in the very first place.

They also say that it is Okay to chain them 24x7 so that they don't "wander off". It is a scientifically proven fact that non-human animals are smart enough to take care of themselves and that they have a great knowledge of direction, even better than we Homo Sapiens. So the point that they will get lost is totally void. By making the point that they will wander-off if they will be unchained, they are also making a subtle point which they themselves are unaware of, and that is that those female bovine do not want to continue being their slaves and be sexually abused/exploited. Further, it is quite evident from the video that they can and do suffer from thirst and hunger as they are chained 24x7 and there aren't anyone to attend their basic needs. (Which wouldn't have been required if they wouldn't have been chained in the very first place). Further, they DO have the right to movement as and when they like to. We cannot strip them from that very basic rights of them.

So let me make it very clear that we are NOT doing them any favor by sexually abusing/exploiting them. So if we are sexually abusing/exploiting them and are consuming dairy/poultry, I expect that we show some integrity and accept the fact that we are doing so only to fulfill the lust of our taste buds. PLEASE do not try to justify it because whatever point we will put forward in its defense will be totally void. It is NOT Okay to perpetuate/deny/defend/justify wrong just because we are not at the receiving end of it. And stop calling non-human animals stupid. It is a scientifically proven fact that they aren't stupid. If we continue to call them stupid, then we are being speciesist and just doing so to make a void point of our human supremacy.

The Boulevard Of Broken Dreams

My past haunts me,
my future taunts me,
and I am stuck in present,
which ain't at all pleasant.

In order to achieve my dreams,
I tried to swim 'gainst the stream,
hoping that with all the effort I will put in,
I will be able to win the heart of my fate's queen,
with the help of whom,
I will be able to achieve my dreams before my doom.

But swimming 'gainst the stream has it's price,
which I had to pay with loud and violent cries,
as I failed to conquer the last standing tide,
which refused to help me by being on my side,
and while being swept off by a violent spate, I got hit by a rock in my face,
and in no time, with the bleeding nose I was out of my own race,
and the journey that began with the hope of conquering the dreams,
got concluded with disappointment and failures loud screams.

While hiding from the ghost of my past,
hoping that the horrible memories won't forever last,
I met a demon from the future,
who, towards my greater fall, wanted me to be lured.

He was dressed in all silver and gold,
promising me that new times won't be like the one's that are now old,
and that, I will rule the world like a king,
and my praises, the whole world will sing,
but for that I have to conduct a deed,
which will make some people bleed.

Wondering what's written in my fate,
while standing there at the gate,
thinking whether to enter or not,
to kill the man sitting inside with a headshot,
in order to conquer his throne,
and consequently, be the reason for his family's groan,
I took the steps that might be considered bold,
for a broken chair of goodness, I kicked the throne of gold.

Tricked by the future and horrified by the past,
I sat in agony wondering what more will the time cast,
realizing that I still have the gift of present,
which by all mean I have to make pleasant.

Carrying a heavy load,
on a hyper mode,
working alone till late,
trying to alter my fate,
I took a leap into the unknown,
so as to find something that can be written on my headstone,

Going through my plans at a glance,
taking all my chance,
I played all my cards,
while being on guard,
and tried to hit the dart with a dart,
with a strong hope in a my heart,
that someday I will win the battle 'gainst the time,
and all my broken dreams will once again be mine.

My Commentary

~What an irony of life it is that those who cannot speak or hear have better conversation, who cannot see have a better feel of things and those whom we deem as fools have a better understanding of things. (22nd January, 2014)

~The friendship we do in our childhood are the best. They are full of innocence, with no vested interest. These friendship stay alive with us forever and no matter how old we have grown, how often we talk or after how long we are meeting/talking, it is always a pleasure to sit down and re-live those old days. And when we meet, we realise how fast the time has flown and how great those old days were, no matter how those days might have been. (19th January, 2014)

~According to my understanding of English, administration means "The act or process of administering", justice means "just behaviour or treatment", authority means "influence" and court of law means "an arm of the judicial branch of government that hears cases and administers justice". Now, according to my understanding of Law and my knowledge of clause (c) of section 2 of "THE CONTEMPT OF COURTS ACT, 1971", contempt of court, which is a punishable offence, is defined as "scandalise or tends to scandalise, or lowers or tends to lower the authority of, any court; or interferes or tends to interfere with, or obstructs or tends to obstruct, the administration of justice in any other manner." Given the Supreme Court of India's verdict on #Section377 of Indian Penal Code, since the SC failed to deliver justice to Homosexuals by upholding the section 377, haven't SC did contempt of court by lowering the authority (influence) of the SC (which is perceived to deliver justice to the victims of discriminations) by failing to deliver justice to a particular minority of the concerned democratic nation and by obstructing the administration (the act or process of administering) of the "natural" justice (just behaviour or treatment) in respect of the homosexuals? But what better can we expect? We live in a world where we prosecute the innocent and free the criminals. #SHAME (11th December, 2013)

~Today, on #ThanksgivingDay, I take the opportunity to thank all of my friends, here on Facebook or otherwise, for inspiring me and pushing my limits while encouraging me to be a better person in all aspects of life. I still remember how one of my friend on Facebook encouraged me to be a Vegan, three and a half years back, while someone else made me question the religious dogmas, while still others made me question my own ideals and thoughts, making me evolve as a better person. Whenever I go out and see the turn of events and gets exasperated, I come back and login into my facebook account, knowing well that some my facebook friends are doing all that they can possibly do to make a better world, and feel a little better. Today, I would like you to know that, even though we might not have ever met or even talked, still, you have made a great impact on my life and I am really greatful of you for that. ~People hold the notion that the homo-sapiens are moral and logical creatures and thus considers "humanity" (human like behaviour) to be a synonym of compassion and kindness and that the non-human animals (beasts) are lower creatures (with no moral and logical faculties) and thus considers "bestiality" (beast like behaviour) to be a synonym of brutality and barbarity. But going out in the world and seeing the turn of events, I think otherwise. (20th November, 2013)

~I love travelling but still I hate travelling by train during night. The berths are so narrow that you can't even turn from side to side, forget about sleeping properly. Now since you are able to imagine the discomfort of spending few hours of your life sleeping in a narrow berth, try to relate it with the discomfort the chicken and other animals experiences when they are caged in a much smaller space for all of their life while they are made to grow in size so that they can later be killed/exploited to give some pleasure to your taste buds for a very brief moment. I was able to relate with that experience and that was precisely the reason why I became Vegan three years back. (13th August, 2013)

"Is it proper to give alms to transgenders? I am totally against giving alms to beggars but this is a completely different case. Beggars have option of working and earning their livings but transgenders don't. They are the victims of social stigma. I read an interesting article that stated that the only option for transgender to earn their livings in present social environment, besides begging, is prostitution, and so they choose the lesser of two evils, i.e. begging. I don't understand why the society is so afraid of them. To be honest, even I used to be afraid of them when I was young because most of the time I saw them, they were either violent or vulgar. But as I grew and tried to understand the world more deeply, I came to a conclusion that that behavior of them were because of defence mechanism of theirs which I think is quite justifiable. Why do everything have to be either black or white? Why can't there be shades of grey. Why are we so afraid and hateful of what's different. Why don't we appreciate difference instead of discriminating? And why so much of social stigma? Why can't we accept the fact that they are one of us? There are organisations that are fighting for their rights and honors and I really hope that one day they will be accepted as an integral part of society like all of us and will get quality education and respectful jobs, but for now, I gave them alms, 'gainst all my philosophies, hoping that it will feed their hungry selves." ~4th July, 2013

~When a friend of mine likes something posted on the net, he appreciates that post and when he re-shares it, he does after showing his gratitude for sharing that post in the first place and by leaving a comment, "Loved, 'liked' and sharing. Thanks!!". That's what actually thanksgiving is or should be. But on a contrary, people celebrate it by killing a turkey, shoving a bread in that dead turkey's arse, baking turkey's corpse with bread in its arse, taking out that "now bacteria laden" bread and feasting over it and in a process slaughtering over 46 million turkey in a single day. I don't understand that by killing a creature what are they being thankful of? (22nd November, 2012)

~If people can be arrested for allegedly hurting the religious sentiments of others, then every single citizen of India should be behind the bars, because whatever religious practices a person follows, will hurt the religious sentiments of someone else, in one way or the other. The Eternal Wait

I waited and waited, hoping that you will come,
till the setting of the moon and the rising of the sun,
when for the world the day was beginning, my came to an abrupt end,

My Journey To Atheism

"Sir, my concern is not whether God is on our side; my greatest concern is to be on God's side, for God is always right." ~Abraham Lincoln

I am an Atheist, but I was not born one, to the contrary, I was born in a secular conservative Hindu family twenty two years back, who taught me to be spiritual instead of being religious and to respect every religion without any discrimination and made me to believe in what I used to say, "There is only one true God. And he is "God", who has no name, no religious followers, who is impartial to all creatures, who is just God." But one day something happened that shattered my faith in that "God", not any particular (as the the world thinks that there are many "Gods" in this world, who are all against other all) but in all sorts of "God" (if they do exist). That event made me think on what Epicurus, an ancient Greek philosopher and the founder of the school of philosophy called Epicureanism said about "God":

“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?

Then he is not omnipotent.

Is he able, but not willing?

Then he is malevolent.

Is he both able and willing?

Then whence cometh evil?

Is he neither able nor willing?

Then why call him God?”

My second year finals were over and I was enjoying my summer vacation. That day, contrary to my habit, I went to bed early and consequently woke up early to find that it was a winsome morning in which I should go out to have a morning walk and enjoy some fresh cool breezes complimented with the sweet song of birds. After walking for half an hour or so, I felt urge to go to a restaurant, famous for its "kachauri and sabji", a kind of breakfast dish usually enjoyed by resident of the city of light which is known by the name of Varanasi, which also is my home town. But, as it was too early in morning, the restaurant was not open for business, so I went to the Ghats on the bank on River Ganges to sit there and enjoy the lovely morning. After devouring there for sometime, I thought of going to the an old bridge on the Ganges. On my way to the bridge on my bike, something happened that cannot happen just by chance but had some reason for its happening, (as according to the philosophy of Truth, "Every thing has a reason and every thing has a time" and as I have written in one of my blog post about happenings titled, "Happening, for a good".) I was taking the narrow street to the highway and just before their juncture, my bike went low on gas and it stopped there. There were two gas stations on either side of the highway, so I thought of giving my bike a little push to the gas station on left. As I was pushing my bike, I crossed a slaughter house, which I had crossed many times before also, but in those times may be I didn't noticed it, but this time I did noticed it and to add up to it, this time I was also a Vegan. The sight of the slaughter house completely baffled me, and this is when I thought that, "How can someone not be dazed by seeing how people take pleasure in others agony?" I was completely stupefied, and thought how can someone, in the holy city of Varanasi, murder some sentimental being so heartlessly. Then a thought sprouted in my mind that, it is not people who are solely responsible for the cold-blooded show of barbarism but are also the words of "mighty", "all generous" "God", which have been noted down in their holy books, that let these butchers murder so pitilessly. From that time onward, I decided to be an atheist and work against these Gods for the betterment of our non-human animal friends. This is when I read a quote from an anonymous writer that, "I am not interested in any religion whose cow, goat, pig, chicken, fish and other sentient beings have yet to experience freedom from the belly of its followers." and understood why majority of the Vegans are atheist.

You must be thinking that why a faithful religious follower like yourself is reading a crappy post of a non-faithful person speaking ill of the mighty God, so I want to make you aware of the fact that like me you are also an atheist. But you may be thinking that, how you being a faithful follower can be an atheist, then for that I will like to quote Stephen H. Roberts who said that, "I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours."

November 1st- International Vegan Day

Lets mark this day in the honor of all those grieving mother cows who lost their young ones just for a glass of milk because we are too stubborn to get over our obsession with dairy, for all those lonely chickens who lost their loved ones just for a piece of there legs because we are too timid to find any other way to treat our taste buds and for all those innocent lives who lost their lives or the lives of their loved ones just to please a superpower who holds apathy to the agony of others because we are too meek to question him and our faith.

A swift transition from a Vegetarian to a Vegan!!

There is nothing in our life called bad times. Its only a perception. Only good time & better time exist. The time which we consider bad time are actually better time of our life. Bad time are the best teacher we can ever have, they teach us the thing that nobody can ever teach us. So its up to us whether we perceive it as bad time & waste our life thinking why we had it or as better time and learn something out of it. A similar such event happened with me which made me think in a new light. Bad times are not necessary the times in which any bad happens to us but are also the ones in which we do something bad upon others intentionally or unintentionally.
Till the end on 2009, i used to be a Vegetarian and was in vain that i do not inflict any harm on others, but one fine day while i was discussing the ill-effects of a non-vegetarian diet with a non-vegetarian friend of mine, i realized that there is an element of "bad" in vegetarian diet also. I visited the dairy farm the following day and saw how we use/harass/torture the cattle animals in order to get dairy product out of them. Being an animal lover, it completely shattered me and i decided to go Vegan.

But this decision of mine which i recently had taken was something which was not "kids stuff" for me as i belong to a society where, unfortunately, after a brief history of non-violence, people where turning violent by adopting a diet that involves harm to others. Further, being a person who completely loved milk product and who "literally" used to survive completely on lacto diet, consuming nothing other than at least 1.5 Lt. of lacto product on a daily basis, Veganism was some thing really hard for me but the thing that kept me going was the consideration that how can i harm the source of the thing i love completely.

Being a part of a society where Cows are respected as much as our mothers are and where the milk products are considered holy and where it is an integral part of religious ceremony, excluding it from my life was difficult. People here are of the view that cows are like our mother. If it is so then i ask them to visit the dairy farm and see for themselves how these "mothers" are treated, how they are chained, made to stand in their own feces, injected with oxotocin so that they can milk more, and are made to bear many other inhuman treatment (check PETA India site or a blog by a Vegan for more detail, as i am not feeling it right to discuss here now about the things of which you don't even considers checking morality, maybe some next time) which, if you truly love your mother, won't ever want to happen to her. So how can we tag a cow as a mother if we continue to treat her like that or how can we do all this stuff if we respect her as a mother?

Now, they say cow is divine, if it is so, then how can we make her bear so much pain that we inflict on her in order to get some milk, or if we inflict so much pain on her how can we call her divine? I don't know whether she is like a mother or divine, all i know is that she don't deserve the wrong that happens to her.

People also talk about the implication of Veganism on health raising the question that from where would i be getting all the required nutrients and vitamins, highlighting the rumor that Vegan are pale and weak. Well, to this i can say that its a complete lie that Vegans are weak because i have been a Vegan now for almost one whole year and i am happy to say that by managing the diet properly, including all necessary minerals and vitamin Vegan source in my diet, i am much healthier in addition to being much happier than i was when i was a Vegetarian.

So, i will like to end this with saying that you don't deserve the wrong you do, so Go Vegan!!

~Fear is our greatest enemy. Our fear forbids us from doing what we should do and make us do what we shouldn't. But in fear, we forgets that the cause of that fear cannot do us much harm than that fear itself. The only thing fear is afraid of is faith. Have faith in yourself, defeat your fear and achieve big!!

~This thanksgiving do something that others will be thankful to you. This thanksgiving, Go Vegan and thank God that he gave you opportunity to be good. This thanksgiving, Go Vegan and give those poor animal a chance to thank God for saving them from torture that would have been inflicted upon them if you wouldn't have been a Vegan. Happy Thanksgiving!!

~When you stand up for something good, you make more enemies than friend. But these few friend are our true friends and will be with us whenever we need them. A single friend like these are worth thousand enemies. Likewise, when we go vegan, we may stand against whole human race, but by doing so, we save an animal's life who becomes our great friend and who will be with us, no matter what. So Go Vegan!!

~We cannot love ourselves until and unless we love others.

~We should always avoid two kinds of persons. The one who is comfortable with evil & the one who is afraid of standing against evil. For the 1st one will be comfortable even when something evil happen to you & the 2nd one will let evil happen to you as that person wont have courage to speak against it. So always be with & be yourself the 3rd kind of person who stand against the evil even if it means standing alone.

~When you are alone and nobody wants to be with you, when you are down and nobody is there to pick you up, don't be sad and don't think that you are bad. Its not that they think you are bad, it's not that they deserve somebody better. It's only because they want the best person in the world to be with you, they want you yourself to be with you. Loneliness is not a curse but is a divine opportunity to be with you. Don't be sad, but live your life to the fullest.

~There is nothing in which a bird differ more from a man other than the way in which the later treat and harass the living being weaker than him. Choose compassion over torture on animals and other living entity.

~Knowledge is great power. We should always strive for knowledge. The moment we take a break from our quest for knowledge, we are as good as dead. Even a whole life seems too small in our quest for knowledge. Nothing can satisfy us other than knowledge. And through knowledge, we shall evolve into a happy, better & compassionate being working for wellbeing of every living being irrespective of their species, gender & religion.

~A person is defined by the kind of war he fights for others, a war against evil inside and outside of him, for other's happiness and wellbeing. This is what differentiate a real man from other as everyone fight their own war but only a true man fights for other.

~Fine, if harassing/torturing/enslaving/killing others makes you happy, i wont utter a single word as u are my friend and i want you happy by all mean. But i pray to God that the same do not happens to u, but anyhow if it happens, then i wont be left in any position to stop it from happening, as i don't think that person/thing will listen to me as u are not listening to me. Go Vegan as it is morally right thing to do.

~Kalmadi and Co. has surely let us down. But we can't let our bureaucrats put the nation to shame. Attend CWG in huge numbers and make it a great success and show them that we Indians are not dependent on them for the pride of our great Nation. Start "Stadium Bharo Andolan" and lets show them that they can't roam freely after putting the pride of nation at stake.

~Untill and unless one respect all the lifeforms irrespect of their species, caste, creed, colour, tribe, religion and gender, one cannot respect the lord in front of whom the person bow their head.

~I don't believe in God because of whom i am supposed to hate and discriminate, nor do I believe in God for whom I am supposed to kill and do injustice. Rather, I have faith in the heart of man which love, care and do justice to every living entity without any discrimination and teaches me to do the same. That is where I find the traces of my lord, and that is the place where I bow down my head and pray.

~What kind of person we are depends on wat kind of surrounding we live in. Our surrounding is made by our friends, who always be with us. People say that i am good, which was obvious, bcoz i have such a great & caring friends who makes me a better person. I thank my friend for being with me & making me what i am today. ~ If i am beautiful, its only because beauty exist in your mind and you are able to contemplate it. If i am ugly, its only because i have lost that smile which used to make my face beautiful upon seeing you happy and smiling!!

~ "Global Warming" might be a myth but "Global Warning" is not. Earth is your, take care of it or loose it!!

~ Harming innocent and weak is not the most courageous thing to do in the whole world, anyone can do that, but to protect them and to work for their happiness even when you are sad is indeed the courageous and greatest of all deeds.

~ I hate my parents for not teaching me to eat someone if it doesn't belongs to my species, kill someone if he doesn't belong to my religion, abuse someone if he dosen't belong to my nation and harass someone if that person isn't of same gender as of mine but am really grateful to them for teaching me to love and respect every single living entity and care for them as we all belongs to one great family of all mighty God.

~ I m a vegetarian.. i believe that no innocent creature should be harmed irrespective of his species, gender, caste, color or religion.. I believe if it is wrong to harm me or any of my friends then it is wrong to harm any other animal also..

Further, Jesus has said: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." now when we love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, we grow to recognize that everyone, even animals and trees are part of His creation. So by harming animals and trees, we are doing wrong to the Lord.

~ If killing a human is a grievous crime then why isn't killing an animal a crime? Both the species have life and both deserves to live a peaceful and respectful life.

~I pity those poor souls who think they can do any wrong to India. I request my friends to teach some history of Alexander "the great", Genghis Khan and many others to them so that they can learn that no one can fulfill their dream of destroying this great country.

~ There is no honor in the whole world bigger than representing your nation and winning for it.

~ What is the similarity between a terrorist and a non-vegetarian? Both kill others to fill their stomach. But i think terrorist are better than non-vegetarian since they do proclaim that they kill others to get some money for buying some food as they can't work hard. But unfortunately, non-vegetarian think they dont do any wrong by killing those innocent creature whom they kill just to give a treat to their taste buds.

~ I am not turning into anything.. i m happy with whatever i am.. its just that i respect all religion and go through the texts that can make me a better and peaceful person as an whole!!

~ Carnivorous were genetically engineered by the mighty Lord to eat other and unfortunately they don't have the "Constructive" powers as humans do to grow some food for themselves. So we can't blame them.

Further, Carnivorous were created by the mighty Lord to create a ecological balance and to put a check to the population of certain group of species.

I don't believe that humans are intellectually better than other species, but human were granted with constructive power so that there can be peace and harmony among all the creatures, but to the contrary, human misused their power for nothing more than utter destruction of others as well as themselves.

~ I am a Vegetarian. I can proudly say that I don't kill other to give a treat to my taste buds and that i have a heart that cares for other.

~ We should always forgive people and love them for who they are, no matter how wrong they do to us because sometimes we can't understand the motive behinds ones deed, whether it is for our good or not. We always abuse friction for slowing us down and eating up our energy but have we ever wonder that if there weren't any friction, then how would we have been able to start up our motion in the first place.

~People says that humans are social animal. I say humans are neither social nor animals. The manner in which they treat other species, the destruction they cause, even the way they treat their fellow humans, they can't be social. Animals might be cruel but they are kinder in comparison with humans. Humans are blood-sucker. So it won't be polite to call human an "animal" as is will be equal to abusing animals.

~With great powers, comes great responsibilities; with great responsibilities, comes greater enemies; and with greater enemies, comes greatest death. Long live those who die for others.

~People says that when we loose loneliness, we get everything, but I say that when we loose loneliness, we loose the greatest part of ourselves.

~Loneliness is our greatest friend. Its stays with us, no matter what condition are we in, it never gets hurt, no matter what we says to it, it teaches us great things in our life, and unlike attachments, never hurts us ever in our life. I am sorry my dear friend "Loneliness", for drifting so far from you. I promise, i will be yours for the rest of my life!!

~Show respect to every creature, even the fools because who knows when the mighty God will shower his blessing upon that creature making him so powerful that it will make you his slave just like "Humans" are making other species a slave, after they evolved from being a fool to all powerful with the blessings of mighty God!!

~You say that i don't speak much, but i speak in silence because i believe that silence can convey what words cannot, you say that i don't listen to you, but i try to listen your heartbeats because i fear that you won't be able to speak what your heart want to speak.

~If a tiger kills one person to feed himself, everyone in that person's society wants that tiger to be dead. But if that person kills entire group of animal for his greed or to feed himself even if he has access to a vegan food, no one demands for the death of that person. I fail to understand the enormously large difference in the life of human and other species.

~You think i hate you?!?! Have you lost your mind? How dare you think like that? You are my life!!! And you don't know how much i hate my life!!! ;)

Can i ask for a big favor from you.. i would ask u to buy as many shocks as you can.. bcoz Santa Clause came to me prev night and asked me what i wanted and i asked him to take bags full of happiness yo ur home and fill ur shocks with it so that u don't fall short of happiness ever in your life.. So i am giving u ample amount of time so that u can buy as many shocks as u can and store great deal of happiness.

~When Mercury himself can object the rise in mercury level, he fails to understand what is troubling our "GREAT" leaders to take some action and stop mercury from rising. Save the deal from collapsing, its for our home, its for our Earth.

Blog, a need.

Everything should have a proper reason for its existence. So i should also have a justifiable reason for starting this blog.

Blog is a space on net where we can publish what we think so that other can know more about the publisher and benefits from their articles and also where we can get comments on our articles so that we can evolve exponentially.

On this blog i will be publishing the thoughts generated by my mind during my interaction with each entity and environment in my surrounding. So i would request you to visit my blog regularly and comment on the articles i publish whether i am right or wrong so that i can correctify my view.

Harshad Gupta, a small introduction.

Who am I? This is the most important question every living being encounters with in his life at least once. And to find an appropriate answer to this question is not a child's stuff. Being on a quest to find an answer was as difficult as the answer itself, i wandered in dark, i kept myself in solitude, i tried and failed and yet i tried again, and finally i was able to know about myself. But this knowledge of me was very small, like a particle of sand on a seashore, so small that it can't be put to any use, yet it was an accomplishment as only few are able to reach this feet.

I was born on a cold evening, at that part of 15th January of 1990 when people were returning home after a tiring job, i was getting ready to start my own work. Being born in Motijheel family, the burden of doing great selfless acts fall on my weak shoulders. Then, that great day came when i was about to be named, the most important day in the life of any Indian baby as the meaning of the name have a great impact on one's character. My parents named me Harshad meaning "Bringer of happiness" thus from that time, i am called by the name of Harshad Gupta.

Being named Harshad, i am supposed to make everyone happy and thus i decided to devote my life for the betterment of others.

Being brought up in Varanasi, the city of light, i was able to learn a lot about diverse people and their miseries and thus it prepared me to do well in my pursuit. My mom, a professor of Sanskrit, brought me to Bhopal, the city of lakes, where i studied for four year. At first, i didn't like the idea of studying in a place so far from family, but in the end, i realized that being studying in Delhi Public School of Bhopal was the best thing that could have happened in those four year. This made me realize that sometimes we are unable to understand the good that are ciphered behind every event that takes place in our life. So in this four year, i came so close with Mother nature that i was able to find out that my life is meaning less in front of the greatness of Mother nature and i would have to sacrifice my life to protect her from bad intuition of Humans.

After completion of this four year, i returned back to Varanasi where i completed my schooling. It was in Varanasi that i was able to know the cipher to my name. If you take the initial of Harshad Gupta, it would be Hg, the chemical symbol of Mercury, the unique metal. It was from then that i use to call myself Mercury.

Having a curious mind have always helped me. I googled a bit to know more about Mercury and i came to know about Mercury, a Roman God of Science and Commerce and messenger to Zeus, an equivalent to Hermes, Greek God of Invention and Olympiads and Thoth, Egyptian God of Scripture and Truth. Then, i came to know about the 42 Laws of Ma'at, the Egyptian Goddess of Truth and decided to follow Truth, a secular faith working for the betterment of every living being. Being a Truth follower, i was able to understand other faith more clearly and worship them much better.

So, from that time, i am a Truth follower. But being a Truth follower is not an easy task. One have to sacrifice every thing he love for others, have to live for others and die for others. But i chose being a Truth follower and i am very proud of my decision.

So, this is what i am. I am Harshad, a Truth follower.
