And I Learned To Hate

In a world that have been torn apart by wars and hate,
and which have been divided by narrow domestic walls and gates,
I met a lively and lovely dove,
from whom I learned to love.

With the love that from her I learned,
for years, for her my heart yearned,
and I finally found the courage to say to her that, "I love you",
the three words that couldn't be any more true,

All the love that she taught,
were meant for aught, but for her naught,
so by loving her as deeply as much as I can,
I had greatly mistaken.

"Thou shalt not love me", with angry heart she said,
as if loving someone is something bad,
"If I shall not love her, then what am I supposed to do?",
I wondered as I had no clue.

Loving her was never in my fate,
and for her all I was allowed to have is love's antonym hate,
but how can anyone hate someone so great,
compassion and kindness are one of whose defining traits.

Hating her was not a child's play,
still, I fulfilled her request of hating her but with a delay,
rather than never, it's better to be late,
it took decades but I finally learned to hate.

The Religions Of Peace

What kind of people does this? These Muslims are so brutal, they kill millions of innocent animals mercilessly to appease their God on Eid. First they start with killing innocent animals and then ends with killing "innocent" Homo Sapiens. This is the very reason why I burst fire-crackers on Diwali.

Oh wait, this isn't the picture from Eid but is from Gadhimai Festival. My bad. Carry on Hindus. Jai GadhiMai!!

People say that I should be proud of my Hindu linkage. Seeing the merciless slaughter of innocent animals, I am very "proud" of my Hindu linkage.

And I Fell In Love

I fell in love to feel the pain,
which otherwise would be impossible to attain,
to know what it is like to be thirsty in the rain,
and to be tied to a spot by an invisible chain.

I fell in love to get hurt,
to become a person of no worth,
to roam the street like an insane,
and to never be happy ever again.

I fell in love to cry all day and night,
to make my dumb heart and wise brain indulge in a fight,
to never see the light of the day,
and to get all my emotions being mercilessly slayed.

I fell in love to find myself seated among the drunk,
and then to be thrown out of the bar like a junk,
to burn myself with the cigarette's smoke,
and to gamble everything until I become broke.

I fell in love to be cheated,
to be very badly treated,
to be attacked with a dart,
by the person to whom I gave my heart.

I fell in love to become my own foe,
to be the reason of my misery and my woe,
to serve out a life sentence,
and to sell my heart for a couple of pence.

I fell in love to be chastised,
for ignoring other's wise advise,
that love won't make your life bloomy,
and on a contrary, it will make your world gloomy.

And most importantly, I fell in love, despite all these reasons, to be hers,
who makes my heart fly with a whir,
who is the reason I am still alive,
and because of whom I will happily suffer all my life.

Success 200: GOD FOUND

I was skeptical about God/Goddess, claiming his/her non-existence and then some of my theist friends "humbly" asked me to reconsider, saying that God do exist. Complying to their wish, I did some more extensive research, and found that I was never so wrong in my whole life, and that God do exist, and it's just that I was not able to "feel" him.

On a thorough research, I found these God/Goddess, sitting on their gold throne in their heavenly abode, smiling on the agony of poor non-human animals being sacrificed in his/her name, during Eid al-Adha , Gadhimai festival/Durga Festival, Kapparot and/or Matagh.

On the ground covered with blood of innocent creatures, I saw success 200 message: GOD FOUND.

Error 404: God Not Found!

Gaza crisis raised many questions in my mind. I saw some people supporting the crisis just because they hate the religion the victims follow and some people condemning the crisis just because they belong to the same religion the victims belong to, and not because they care for the well-being of the victims otherwise. I even saw people praying for the well-being of the victims, as if praying will lessen the suffering of the victims.

When I was a kid, I heard many stories proclaiming how "just" God/Goddess are, by drowning almost every Earthlings, because the "sons of God" found the "daughters of men" beautiful and decided to marry them, by beheading Shishupala just because he abused the "almighty" a hundred times, and by killing 'Asma' bint Marwan because she ridiculed the "almighty" through her poetry.

Hearing all these stories of how "just" these God/Goddess are and what prompt action they take in order to inhibit wrong-doing, I was much confident that any or all God will come down from their heavenly abode to prevent the Gaza crisis or any other such incidents, which are so grievous in nature, as they took prompt action against "crimes" of minuscule magnitude. But seeing no action at all to prevent such heinous crimes against mankind, I was disappointed and was wondering that what made God/Goddess numb on such an important issue and tried to search (Google) where they were during these times of deadly catastrophes, and then I heard a voice from the cloud (cloud computing) that, "Error 404: God Not Found".

Justice For Ganesh

Justice delayed is justice denied.

Indian judiciary system is so weak, that there has been so much delay in providing justice to a young boy, that it has practically been denied to him.

A man who killed his wife's son, just because he was carrying out his mother's order of not letting anyone enter the house while she was getting ready, and later killed someone else's son, who are listed in schedule 1 of Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 and are given absolute protection under the very Act, to "re-live" his wife's son, has not yet been brought to justice.

On the occasion of #GaneshChaturthi, which is marked as both, Ganesh's birth and death day, let's hope that justice is provided to him, irrespective of the fact that who committed the crime.

The God Of War

Brown soil turned red,
with the blood of innocents murdered,
but not a single tear was shed,
while thousands were being butchered.

They were ready to kill and get killed without a sigh,
for a creature who they believed lives in the sky,
neither the sight of blood nor the sound of cry,
made those people murder shy.

How can someone be so keen,
to take each others lives,
making widows out of wives,
for someone whom they have never seen.

Doesn't it seems odd,
that these men of God,
instead of standing unified for something good,
holding rage against each other they stood.

Their innocent victims prayed and prayed,
but neither them nor their God really cared,
and by the death of the day,
from the face of the Earth they were wiped away.

They call their God the agent of peace,
but from harming each other they never cease,
for in reality these very Gods, mine as well as yours,
are nothing but a facilitator of wars.

Birthday Greeting!! (Son)

After a long wait of 365 days,
came the moment when we may,
once again celebrate the birth,
of him who will bring peace on Earth.

Not knowing what to do, many wander,
while some spend their whole life doing wonders,
you surely belongs to the later,
who uses your talent to do something greater.

We wish you a very Happy Birthday, dear son,
and wish that you will always shine like the sun,
and will always be happy and wear a sweet smile,
sweetness of which will be spread to many miles.

Felix Cumple!!

A Hike By The Moonlight

The woods have something new in store for us every time we give them a visit. Who would have known that by getting lost in the woods, we would have gained something that will stay with us for eternity.

Mesmerized by the beauty of minute details the woods presented before us by being sun-drenched, we lost our track. It became dark and at the time when we were supposed to report at the base camp, we were still trying to find our way back.

The moon was up, the stars were shining and the woods were drenched with moonlight. There was a serenity in the air and the fauna that were shy of the sun were coming out to embrace the darkness. In contrast with the minute details that were exposed by the sunlight, the moonlight exposed only the things that were abstract, revealing only those things that the moonlight wanted us to see, by falling on them, as opposed to the sunlight which reveals everything in its path, thus giving more room to artistic interpretation, which isn't possible in the presence of sunlight.

The outline of the trees and the mountain which the moon cast, looked more beautiful than the trees and mountain itself as it appears in the daylight. And the stars that appeared as jewel, shining up in the cloudless sky as if cast there by a mighty artist, "whose beauty is not their only trait, which about them is perceived to be great, but are also the direction to the travelers which they show, when the mighty sun fails to glow."

Taking help from the stars, we found our way back and after reaching the camp, we laid our head on the ground to witness, "chirping of cricket which sounded like a beautiful symphony, to which the blowing wind gave a company, hearing which the trees started to dance, and seeing which I fell into the trance." After a few minutes, coming out of the trance, I opened my eyes to find myself sitting in front of my computer. The memory of that trip, which will stay with me forever, tele-ported me back to the woods and, "made my body envious of my soul, which wandered in the wood, while reliving those moment in front of my computer my body stood."

All these years, we used to travel during the daytime only, limiting us to see what the sunlight has to expose, but after this trip, we started travelling in night also, surprising ourselves by seeing what darkness conceals and what it reveals.

Election Season: Time To Reform Your Government

It's election season in India. Where ever you go, you will find people discussing about their prospective government. Discussion on political governance, corruption and communal violence is a common practice now a days. You will overhear people discussing dynastical politics, politicians building large personal estates out of public fund, prospective candidate buying votes, polarization of vote base, sparking communal violence, social development, economical development, democracy, bad governance, impotency of current government to deal with crisis (natural or otherwise), their inability to form new and better laws, policy paralysis, their stance on women rights, child rights, human rights, animal rights, environment, right to food, right to information, right to education, their inability to provide justice and security for all, poor state of infrastructure and health care, minority issues and equality. You will see people discussing these issues in depth (or otherwise) and making use of their voting power to form a new government or to reform the current one. In short, you will see people discussing about electing their national/state government.

But what you don't see is people discussing about higher government, also known as (aka) God. Their is no discussion on governance and corruption of God. You will not overhear people discussing how dynastical politics is so prevalent in political parties (religion) of higher government (more or less in all political parties) (the "Father" ruling after the "holy spirit" and the "son" ruling after the "Father"), how the political head (God/Goddess) of these political parties (religion) are building their large personal estates (Temples/Church/Mosques/Etc.) out of public fund, their candidates buying votes by providing false hopes of a berth in heaven (and 72 virgins), polarizing the vote base by stating that the head of other political parties are actually "Satan", sparking communal violence by using hate speech in their (never fulfilled) manifesto (holy books), the lack of social and economical development, the dictatorial/autocratic rule, the lack of good governance, their impotency to deal with crisis, their inabilities to form new and better laws and being policy paralyzed, their controversial stance on women rights, child rights, human rights, animal rights, environment, right to information, right to food, right to education, their inability to provide justice and security for all, poor state of infrastructure and health care, and their controversial stance on minority issue and equality. You won't see people discussing these issues even in the slightest and hence restraining themselves from making use of their voting power/rights to form a new government (God) or reform current one. In short, we don't see people discussing about electing their higher government (God).

So this election season, go out, make use of your voting power/right and elect a government and a God that you hope will do the best to bring some positive change or else use NOTA to government or God (no government or God suitable to govern properly) (atheism), but do not abstain from voting and please don't sell you votes.

And most importantly, do a thorough research about the candidates prior of casting your vote.

Birthday Greetings!! (Shashank)

I heard the angels in the heaven say,
that, "today is an auspicious day,
so in unison let us together pray,
for him who on this day celebrates his birthday."

Today is the birthday of the smartest part of the moon,
who have grown so wise so soon,
it was like yester, that to lighten the world he was born,
just like the mighty sun, which is born every morn.

Let us wish that he lives his life like a king,
and of his greatness the whole world sing,
and that over billions of people he wield a vast and inspiring sway,
and that on this day he be blessed and have a very Happy Birthday!

Birthday Greeting!! (Vegan)

We are all gathered here today,
to celebrate this auspicious day,
which is marked as the birthday,
of hope's ray.

Many years ago you took birth,
in order to bring peace on Earth,
and to bring to an end,
to all the atrocities on our fur friends.

You became a Vegan after foreseeing,
that to contribute to the well-being,
of the Earthlings as much as you can,
you have to become a Vegan.

By becoming a Vegan,
you not only increased your own life span,
but also have enhanced the state of the environment,
by taking part in sustainable development.

With every piece of meat,
you decided not to eat,
you saved an innocent life,
who otherwise would have been slaughtered by a knife.

And by not consuming dairy,
you saved many cattle from atrocities,
which they are subjected to in monstrosities,
whose very thought is extremely scary.

With leathers and wools that you decided not to wear,
you saved many animals from the fear,
of being taken away from their kin,
and being killed for their skin.

We are thankful of you,
who had a compassionate view,
and took a decision that was ethically right,
and which helped in ending other's plight.

So I and your foster kids,
whom you rescued as strays,
take the opportunity to bid,
you a very happy and a vegan birthday!!

And we wish that you our dear,
lives for many more years,
and may your heart be full of song and your life be content and full of cheer,
and may great accomplishment in your life be the things that be seen by a seer.

Happy Birthday!!

The Red Light Angel

A young angel at dawn,
playing with her dolls out in her lawn,
unaware of the demons of the world,
who, into the hell, wanted her to be hurled.

Three men came at dusk,
wanting to lure with a pleasant musk,
the innocent angel into perdition,
and to sell her into prostitution.

She cried her heart out,
and to be free she gave a shout,
but all of this was in vain,
as she was made to endure the parting pain.

Her days saw her getting abused by the pimp,
who was trying to turn her into a wimp,
and her night saw the men in white collars,
trying to buy her soul with their filthy dollars.

Each day and night, against her will,
with manly filth, her body was filled,
as if she was an inanimate thing,
which was being used and swinged.

One night while her body was being used,
with a sperm, the egg got fused,
which sprouted a brand new life,
inside a woman who wasn't considered fit to be someone's wife.

Not wanting the new life to suffer as she did,
of the little angel, she wanted to get rid,
and so tried to turn her womb,
into the little angel's tomb.

Seeing the price the little angel bears,
who can be used to be given a leer,
the stakeholders forced the woman to give birth,
who, for them, was of great worth.

Thus, in the darkest hour of the night,
the woman saw the birth of a light,
who showed her way out of servitude,
and ended her dismal life as a prostitute.

The woman who paid dearly for another's crimes,
because she was too timid to break free all those times,
in the form of her daughter, she found a new courage,
and with great rage, she broke out of her cage.

Trying to adapt to their new lives,
the mother and the daughter strived to thrive.
and spend their whole life protecting other angels,
from the jaws of danger.

#365grateful

~ I'm grateful of people with whom our mental frequency resonates. With them, there is no need of words to initiate transfer of ideas, merely thinking will suffice. Many a times, I and my cousin discuss philosophy, ideas and stuffs, but somehow we didn't discussed this one. For the last couple of months, I was thinking of gifting plants or "rescued" pets instead of bouquets or gifts to people on their special day, as I deem gifts and bouquets worthless, as after using gifts for first couple of days, people generally chuck them in one corner of their house, never to use again, and the bouquets, after making the "local" environment pleasant for a couple of days, dies off. But the pets and plants stays for much longer. Previous week, he gifted me a flowering plant and told me that he was thinking on this idea for a last couple of month and thought that I would like it. I told him that I was thinking the same but haven't done it yet. (23rd January, 2014)
