Random Rattling

~I was in 7th grade, studying in Delhi Public School, Bhopal. We went to Bandavgarh Tiger Reserve Sanctuary on a school tour. We were told not to use flash guns in wildlife sanctuary as it damages the eye-sight of wild animals. I learned it then and there.
I was in Bandipur Tiger Reserve today. I saw "literate" people using flash guns. I fail to understand that if a 12 year old adolescent can understand such a simple thing then why can't people elder than him can. (10th August, 2014)

~Yesterday marked the 100th anniversary of outbreak of World War I. ‪#‎WW1‬ is considered to be one of the darkest period in human history. 7 million civilians and 10 million military personnel lost their lives in a span of 4 years, which historians consider a genocide, because of human greed and hatred.
If we call the death of 17 million humans (which includes a majority of person who were ready to kill and get killed) in a span of 4 years to be a genocide and one of the darkest period in human history, what will we call the merciless killing of over 60 billion land animals and over 70 billion aquatic animals annually, just to give a treat to our taste buds? (29th July, 2014)

~I was in a train, sitting on the corridor seat next to the door. A group of transgenders boarded the train. As the compartment seats next to me were empty, they made themselves comfortable there. We all have been conditioned by the society to fear what is different. I remember well that 12 years back, I used to be very afraid of them. Being an activist for quite a while, I fear them less, but there was still some fear left in the heart of my heart. As all the seats in the compartment were occupied, the last one to board the train was searching for a seat. My bag was on the seat in front of me. I lifted my bag and offered her the seat. She thanked me. We had a little conversation. The train reached the next station. They were deboarding the train. She got up and gave me a smile. I smiled back. Before leaving the train, she told me that I am a nice person.
If a transgender find a rude person such as myself to be nice, just for talking with them nicely, offering a free seat to them and giving them a smile, one can only imagine what they have to go through in their respective daily life. (26th July, 2014)

~I was at a railway station. There was a mid-aged couple. The husband went to buy the tickets and the lady was trying to carry their luggage up the stairs all by herself, but with great difficulties. Seeing her struggle with her luggage, I went down the stairs and offered her my help. At first, she didn't accept my help but as I was turning back to return to my friends, she asked me whether I can help her carry her luggage up the stairs. I said yes and went forward to lift the luggage. She tried to lift the luggage from one side in order to help me. I said I will manage it all by myself. She insisted that she will help. I bluntly replied that I won't runaway with her luggage. Stunned by what I just said, she replied that she didn't meant that. Seeing her feel bad that I don't think that she trusts me, I said her not to worry as I myself don't trust others and do not expect others to trust me. She didn't agree to what I said.
In a world where no one can trust anyone, there are some people who takes pride in trusting others. (24th July, 2014)

~A child, who was chained for six long months, from the very day he was born until now, got separated from his mother, unaware of where to go, how to feed himself, whom to look for when he feel scared, closely escaping the grips of men who were looking forward to slaughter him for veal/soft leather.
Why? Because you wanted your "filthy" glass of milk (White Blood).
The whole scene was so sickening and horrifying, yet people who consume animal products (dairy/meat/leather) have the guts to say that they are compassionate towards other creatures and that their glass of milk is "cruelty-free."
I am happy that I disassociated myself from all these, three and the half years back and became Vegan. (5th November, 2013)

~I was wondering why madam #MarieCurie was so successful in her life and then I read one of her quote that, "Be less curious about people and more curious about ideas" and realised that the secret behind her success was that she was "CURIE"ous. (4th November, 2013)

~This morning I was wondering what to wear as today is Halloween and I haven't prepared any mask/costume for it, but then I thought why wear any costume/mask in order to appear as a devil/monster when my facial anatomy resembles that of a homo-sapiens, who by its very nature, is devilish, and who has left no stone unturned in order to bestow hell upon Earth. (31st October, 2013)

~I know many who loves to flirt with the Grim Reaper, but with all due respect, I don't understand why they make those, who share physical time and space with them and who do not loves to flirt with the grim reaper, to passively and unintentionally flirt with him. Flirting, as I believe, should be a private affair and hence should be banned in public until and unless all those who are sharing physical time and space, are all flirting with the grim reaper. (12th October, 2013)

~I am of the conviction that a teacher/professor is less fortunate than a coach in terms of the amount of respect they earn from their pupil. (21st September , 2013)

~I completely support all the fatwas that makes wearing burqa mandatory, but with some little amendments. Firstly, no part of ones face, including ones eyes, should be visible, and secondly, it should be mandatory for all women and men to wear it, because how else are we to protect them from chronic respiratory diseases, skin diseases and eye diseases, that are caused by amount of pollution and dirt particles in air. On a more serious note, one should be free to decide what to and what not to wear, and should not be threatened/pressurised physically, mentally or spiritually/religiously/socially to wear or not to wear anything. (19th September, 2013)

~While returning from University this evening, cruising over speed breakers, my wallet slipped out of my pocket while I bumped over one such speed breaker. After driving some 200-300 meters from that point, I realised that my wallet is missing from my pocket. I drove back to search for my wallet, but it was all in vain. Realising that I won't be able to find back my wallet, I thought that I will put a note in my new wallet reading, "Honest homo-sapient who found this lost wallet kindly contact the given no. so that I (the owner) can recieve it from you." But couple of hours laters, my uncle called me saying that someone had called him and that they told him that they have my wallet with them. I called them back, and they told me to pick my wallet from them. I asked them whether it would be convinient for them if come and pick up my wallet from them at that time or should I come in morning as it was already 9:30 and it would take atlest 20 minutes to reach their hostel. They said it would be fine with them. Now, who on Earth takes the pain of searching for a contact number in a wallet, contacting that person, asking about the real owner of the wallet, and returning it to it's rightful owner? Faith in humanity slightly restored. (13th September, 2013)

~I rather like going to an activism event than going to a party. One can attend an activism event wearing jeans, kurta, and sandal but in order to attend a party one has to wear all kinds of scandal. (20th August, 2013)

~[For the illiterate people like me who experience problem in dealing with Hindi, the board reads: Fortunate women are prohibited from worshiping in the temple of GODESS Dhomawati] For years I used to think that religion has been/is been used to subjugate women, but after seeing this board I realised that I was so wrong. In reality, religion has been liberating women ever since it's interception. Religion thinks that women are so independent that they don't have to be dependent on any "SKY DADDY/MOMMY" and their bollock rules or to bow in front of them out of fear or to follow their baseless orders, and that they are well capable of doing things on their own without the help of "SKY DADDIES/MOMMIES" (as if they really help earthlings) and so they have to be prohibited from worshiping, otherwise they would become slaves like their male counterparts following bollock rules out of fear of being send to hell and hence will loose their independence. I really hope that men too will be prohibited from entering temple so that they too can be liberated soon. P.S.: This is what happens when I am asked to give a visit to a HOLY place, because the negevity that surrounds the whole place infuriates me, and to lessen my fury, I start to dig into religion and find all such filth that sum up to become religion and documents them so that others can also know what they are following. (2oth June, 2013)

~On this day two years back, I stopped believing in Sky Daddies (Gods), "hypothetically", whose sole purpose for existence is to keep Homo Sapient out of hell and to show them the way to heaven. On that day, I realized that fact that the above mentioned hypothetical sole purpose for existence of Sky Daddies is all bollocks as there isn't any hell but the place we are living at, as it is surrounded by places called Slaughterhouses, which are no less than hell in any manner, where innocents beings are cold-heartedly murdered for apparently no reason whatsoever. Seeing the grievous scene of slaughterhouses and being petrified by it, I decided that day that I don't have to continue pleasing an imaginary friend, whose very existence is in question, who although called all merciful and omnipotent, holds apathy towards agony of others, and start doing things simply on the merit of those things without thinking whether it will appease God or not. (7th June, 2013)

~Disclaimer: This post may appear to be insensitive to many, but with all due respect, it is not meant to offend/hurt anyones feeling but to help make a connection with whats happening around us and how it is adversely effecting others. How proper would it be to mourn the death of terrorists who died while attacking WTC? Simmilarly, how proper whould it be to mourn the death of 200 chinese poultry farm worker who died during the recent fire outburst in the slaughterhouse in northern china? Still, our condolence are with the families of the dead ones as all life are precious and irrespective of what they did to the innocents, what happend was tragic. (4th June, 2013)

~Dear Theists, We humbly request you to find some good to do that will earn you a place in heaven as we seriously do not want you to "suffer" with us in hell. Much love, Your Atheist friends. (30th May, 2013)

~In early morning, the birds sing songs to make people know that it's time for them to meet the day and for me to meet the day's end.(24th May, 2013)

~Do you know what love is? Love is when the wheels gains RPM, when the power of wind is felt on your face, when you cut trough the traffic to conquer the ever diverging miles, when the speed of your bike encompasses you and consequently liberates you from the clutches of the world. Yes my dear, that is exactly what love is. (8th May, 2013)

~Earth ka kuch kar, warna unearth ho jaega. (22nd April, 2013)

~God's hatred for atheists overpowers his/her love for theists. The rapture that was supposed to happen on this day two years back was cancelled only because "the all knowing God" started to forsee that if rapture happens and theists are send to "the heaven", leaving all the atheists behind on Earth, which will make all the atheists eternally jubliant as an Earth free from theists will be next only to heaven in all matters of concern. Thus, in order to condemn atheist from eternal joy, s/he condemned not only atheist but theist also by not sending theists to heaven. God surely does work in a mysterious way. Lets stand in solidarity with all the theist as they have been subjected to an eternal condemnation by not been raptured and forced to share Earth (atheist's heaven) with atheists. "#Amen" P.S. Atheists are so selfish, if they would'nt have been happy on the possibility of a rapture, theist would have been enjoying in heaven by now. (22nd April, 2013)

~Had to drop someone to the station. The person said that he will drive my bike and i was like, "yeah, why not?" After driving half the way, he asked that how am i able to drive my bike as it neither have horn nor the brakes in working condition. I humbly replied that i am an environmentalist to which he asked that what do my being an environmentalist have to do with no horn and brakes in working condition. Well, blowing horn causes sound pollution and applying brakes reduces the efficiency of the bike, causing more intake of gas causing more air pollution. The other person tendered speachless and once again an environmentalist won.(17th April, 2013)

The Deceptive Thee

The beauty in thy eyes,
is it truthful or full of lies,
which in itself encompasses the beauty of the world,
and maketh the world outside it look totally absurd.

The sweetness of thy sound,
doth it inflict or heal a wound,
which hath enthralled every swain,
and hath maketh them go insane.

The greatness of thy thought,
doth it improve anything or naught,
which maketh men ponder,
and prevents opportunities from being squander'd.

The glow of thy face,
is it artificial or youth's grace,
which hath been used as a lure,
to maketh men a dour.

The touch of thy skin,
is it pure or full of sin,
which cannot be hidden by any attire,
and which hath maketh men a slave to every base desire.

The lustre of thy smile,
is it eternal or just for a while,
which from their miseries helps men to flee,
and which maketh everyone dance with glee.

The innocence of thee,
is it clumsy or is it twee,
which in nature is incorruptible,
proof of which hath been given by a sibyl.

Oh divine, for the goodness's sake,
speaketh whether thou art real or art fake,
for, the persona of thee is so deceptive,
which can maketh any man corruptive.

Birthday Wishes!! (She)

I heard the angels in the heaven say,
that, "today is an auspicious day,
so in unison let us together pray,
for her who on this day celebrates her birthday."

Today is the birthday of the most beautiful part of the moon,
who have grown so wise very soon,
it was like yester, that to lighten the world she was born,
just like the mighty sun, which is born every morn.

Let us wish that her life be filled with euphoria,
and she rules the world just like Queen Victoria,
and that over billions of people she wield a vast and inspiring sway,
and that on this day she be blessed and have a very Happy Birthday!

Felix Cumple!!

The Boulevard Of Broken Dreams

My past haunts me,
my future taunts me,
and I am stuck in present,
which ain't at all pleasant.

In order to achieve my dreams,
I tried to swim 'gainst the stream,
hoping that with all the effort I will put in,
I will be able to win the heart of my fate's queen,
with the help of whom,
I will be able to achieve my dreams before my doom.

But swimming 'gainst the stream has it's price,
which I had to pay with loud and violent cries,
as I failed to conquer the last standing tide,
which refused to help me by being on my side,
and while being swept off by a violent spate, I got hit by a rock in my face,
and in no time, with the bleeding nose I was out of my own race,
and the journey that began with the hope of conquering the dreams,
got concluded with disappointment and failures loud screams.

While hiding from the ghost of my past,
hoping that the horrible memories won't forever last,
I met a demon from the future,
who, towards my greater fall, wanted me to be lured.

He was dressed in all silver and gold,
promising me that new times won't be like the one's that are now old,
and that, I will rule the world like a king,
and my praises, the whole world will sing,
but for that I have to conduct a deed,
which will make some people bleed.

Wondering what's written in my fate,
while standing there at the gate,
thinking whether to enter or not,
to kill the man sitting inside with a headshot,
in order to conquer his throne,
and consequently, be the reason for his family's groan,
I took the steps that might be considered bold,
for a broken chair of goodness, I kicked the throne of gold.

Tricked by the future and horrified by the past,
I sat in agony wondering what more will the time cast,
realizing that I still have the gift of present,
which by all mean I have to make pleasant.

Carrying a heavy load,
on a hyper mode,
working alone till late,
trying to alter my fate,
I took a leap into the unknown,
so as to find something that can be written on my headstone,

Going through my plans at a glance,
taking all my chance,
I played all my cards,
while being on guard,
and tried to hit the dart with a dart,
with a strong hope in a my heart,
that someday I will win the battle 'gainst the time,
and all my broken dreams will once again be mine.

My Commentary

~What an irony of life it is that those who cannot speak or hear have better conversation, who cannot see have a better feel of things and those whom we deem as fools have a better understanding of things. (22nd January, 2014)

~The friendship we do in our childhood are the best. They are full of innocence, with no vested interest. These friendship stay alive with us forever and no matter how old we have grown, how often we talk or after how long we are meeting/talking, it is always a pleasure to sit down and re-live those old days. And when we meet, we realise how fast the time has flown and how great those old days were, no matter how those days might have been. (19th January, 2014)

~They all were gathered there to light candles in memoriam of 'Nirbhaya.'
"Female empowerment", shouted one of them, "Female protection", shouted someone else.
"Stop sexual harassment and rape", clamoured some, "Stop female exploitation", clamoured others.
"Stop double facedness", called some. "Justice to females, female rights, feminism", they roared in unison. Exhausted as they all were, they went to a cafe for a cup of coffee.
Waiting for her coffee to arrive, she took a pocket mirror out of her purse to tidy her hair.
She was in a shock after seeing into the mirror. She saw her double face. (16th December, 2013)

~According to my understanding of English, administration means "The act or process of administering", justice means "just behaviour or treatment", authority means "influence" and court of law means "an arm of the judicial branch of government that hears cases and administers justice". Now, according to my understanding of Law and my knowledge of clause (c) of section 2 of "THE CONTEMPT OF COURTS ACT, 1971", contempt of court, which is a punishable offence, is defined as "scandalise or tends to scandalise, or lowers or tends to lower the authority of, any court; or interferes or tends to interfere with, or obstructs or tends to obstruct, the administration of justice in any other manner." Given the Supreme Court of India's verdict on #Section377 of Indian Penal Code, since the SC failed to deliver justice to Homosexuals by upholding the section 377, haven't SC did contempt of court by lowering the authority (influence) of the SC (which is perceived to deliver justice to the victims of discriminations) by failing to deliver justice to a particular minority of the concerned democratic nation and by obstructing the administration (the act or process of administering) of the "natural" justice (just behaviour or treatment) in respect of the homosexuals? But what better can we expect? We live in a world where we prosecute the innocent and free the criminals. #SHAME (11th December, 2013)

~"He used to bully kids at the school. One day, while returning from the school, after bullying a kid, he looked into the rear-view mirror of his car. He wasn't able to recognise the person in the mirror. He cried all the way back home and slept crying. In the morning, he went to the kid and apologised. After returning, he looked into the mirror and was able to recognise the person in the mirror. The tear that he shed removed the mask from his face. He wasn't the bully he pretended to be." (3rd December, 2013)

~Today, on #ThanksgivingDay, I take the opportunity to thank all of my friends, here on Facebook or otherwise, for inspiring me and pushing my limits while encouraging me to be a better person in all aspects of life. I still remember how one of my friend on Facebook encouraged me to be a Vegan, three and a half years back, while someone else made me question the religious dogmas, while still others made me question my own ideals and thoughts, making me evolve as a better person. Whenever I go out and see the turn of events and gets exasperated, I come back and login into my facebook account, knowing well that some my facebook friends are doing all that they can possibly do to make a better world, and feel a little better. Today, I would like you to know that, even though we might not have ever met or even talked, still, you have made a great impact on my life and I am really greatful of you for that. (20th November, 2013)

~People hold the notion that the homo-sapiens are moral and logical creatures and thus considers "humanity" (human like behaviour) to be a synonym of compassion and kindness and that the non-human animals (beasts) are lower creatures (with no moral and logical faculties) and thus considers "bestiality" (beast like behaviour) to be a synonym of brutality and barbarity. But going out in the world and seeing the turn of events, I think otherwise. (20th November, 2013)

~I love travelling but still I hate travelling by train during night. The berths are so narrow that you can't even turn from side to side, forget about sleeping properly. Now since you are able to imagine the discomfort of spending few hours of your life sleeping in a narrow berth, try to relate it with the discomfort the chicken and other animals experiences when they are caged in a much smaller space for all of their life while they are made to grow in size so that they can later be killed/exploited to give some pleasure to your taste buds for a very brief moment. I was able to relate with that experience and that was precisely the reason why I became Vegan three years back. (13th August, 2013)

~People cross the road as if they are walking in their "private orchard" that Caesar left for them in his will. (20th July, 2013)

~And we say that we don't have a strong justice system. How do we think we are going to have a strong justice system when all we are engrossed with is the exploitation of others and when we support legislation that protects the exploitation of sentient being only because it has financial returns or interests us and which eventually leads to a situation where much emphasis is given to the protection of financial returns than the protection of sexual exploitation. (26th April, 2013)

"I'm at hospital and it's raining babies here. I don't understand why people want to populate the already overpopulated world, with more than one kid. If they want more kids, why can't they adopt kids from orphanages, who themselves are looking for families. Why can't India adopt the "one kid policy" as adopted by China? Couple of years back, when there used to be discussion about spaying and neutering animals, I used to oppose the idea, but when we can spay and neuter animals, why can't we spay and neutral humans who are reproducing at a much rapid rate. And finally, the most frequently asked question outside the operation theatre is whether the child is a boy or a girl instead of whether the kid who took birth is healthy or not. When the couple wanted one more kid, what difference does it makes if the kid is a boy or a girl?" ~16th July, 2013

"I know of no instance where religion has helped in bridging the divide but I certainly know of one instance where religion has played an important role in creating a big border on the face of the Earth." ~13th July, 2013

"Theists accuses atheists for making a laughing stock out of them. But with all due respect, why would an atheist want to waste their energy and time making a laughing stock out of theists when theists themselves are engrossed in doing that. It is beyond my intellectual capabilities to understand how a piece of art, that portrays a person of one section of society falling in love with a person of another section of society, is inapt and based on "controversial theme" and thus should be banned. Hats off to those whose intellectual capabilities permits them to understand the logic behind banning a piece of art from public display because of it's alleged "controversial theme." By the way, I totally recommend you to watch Raanjhanaa, which I enjoyed watching without going deep into which person of which section of society fells in love with which person of which section of society but while appreciating the quality of visual art that was presented before me and the amount of hard work putted in to create it, before it is banned by some religious fanatic in India too." ~8th July, 2013

"Is it proper to give alms to transgenders? I am totally against giving alms to beggars but this is a completely different case. Beggars have option of working and earning their livings but transgenders don't. They are the victims of social stigma. I read an interesting article that stated that the only option for transgender to earn their livings in present social environment, besides begging, is prostitution, and so they choose the lesser of two evils, i.e. begging. I don't understand why the society is so afraid of them. To be honest, even I used to be afraid of them when I was young because most of the time I saw them, they were either violent or vulgar. But as I grew and tried to understand the world more deeply, I came to a conclusion that that behavior of them were because of defence mechanism of theirs which I think is quite justifiable. Why do everything have to be either black or white? Why can't there be shades of grey. Why are we so afraid and hateful of what's different. Why don't we appreciate difference instead of discriminating? And why so much of social stigma? Why can't we accept the fact that they are one of us? There are organisations that are fighting for their rights and honors and I really hope that one day they will be accepted as an integral part of society like all of us and will get quality education and respectful jobs, but for now, I gave them alms, 'gainst all my philosophies, hoping that it will feed their hungry selves." ~4th July, 2013

"I respect and envy those people who travel by taxi/personal car. Respect becuase they have so much patience to be stucked in traffic jams while they could have easily avoided that by travelling by metros/local trains/trams and/or two wheeler. Envy because I don't have so much patience, which if I would had, I would had completed more projects which are lying in one corner my room/mind simply because I skipped them when I was stucked with them, due to lack of patience, instead of pondering a way out and completing them." ~28th June, 2012

"People often says that they travel by air, in taxis, in A.C. coaches/buses, while staying in expensive 5* hotels. How can that be travelling? That's just visiting places. One can only travel by railroad (IInd class reserved/unreserved coaches), in ordinary buses or by foot, while living in tents, eating local cuisines. Travelling is not merely visiting places in leisure time, but is an act of feeling local heat/cold/rain/dust/atmosphere on your face, seeing new unexpected things, experiencing new things, discovering new gullies in the town and visiting distant countrysides and most importantly, is a way of living and discovering yourself. People also often says that they need a handsome amount of currency in their pocket to travel. That's completely absurd statement. One can very well travel by being penniless too. All you need to travel is an attitude and a desire to travel and to see new places and the guts to come out of your comfort zone." ~25th June, 2013

"Following dreams may be risky, but abandoning them will be lethal. Abandoned dreams won't let you sleep, causing chronic insomnia, which may lead to death. It's 5:30 in the morning and I can't sleep. The jerks in the locomotive is not letting me to sleep. If I wouldn't had stopped working on that project of mine, we would have had a system that would have been reducing the magnitude of jerks experienced in locomotives in addition to generating eco-friendly electric energy for in-house utilization." ~19th June, 2013

"It only takes two fools to cause a massive traffic jam. Don't be one of them, drive in your respective lanes and follow the traffic signal." 18th June, 2013

"We say that we love flowers, yet we pluck them. We say that we love trees, yet we cut them. We say that we love animals, yet we eat them. And people still wonder why some are afraid when told they are loved." ~17th June, 2013

"It's seems to me that I am the poorest person in whole of India. Every other Indian is so damn rich, so rich that they literally own the whole of India, which they use as their trash can, throwing trash wherever they feel like throwing, whereas I being so poor that I can only throw trash in the small trash can placed in one corner of my house." ~14th June, 2013

~When a friend of mine likes something posted on the net, he appreciates that post and when he re-shares it, he does after showing his gratitude for sharing that post in the first place and by leaving a comment, "Loved, 'liked' and sharing. Thanks!!". That's what actually thanksgiving is or should be. But on a contrary, people celebrate it by killing a turkey, shoving a bread in that dead turkey's arse, baking turkey's corpse with bread in its arse, taking out that "now bacteria laden" bread and feasting over it and in a process slaughtering over 46 million turkey in a single day. I don't understand that by killing a creature what are they being thankful of? (22nd November, 2012)

~If people can be arrested for allegedly hurting the religious sentiments of others, then every single citizen of India should be behind the bars, because whatever religious practices a person follows, will hurt the religious sentiments of someone else, in one way or the other. Edible Weapon

You don't need a bomb detonator in your hand to kill tens of thousands of people in a single day, a kitchen knife will suffice.

Food, along with water, which are the basic necessity for the survival of a human being can be used as a deadly weapon to control or to create mass destruction. Almost 1,50,000 people die every day and starvation alone accounts for 25,000 lives out it. This number is much larger than AIDS, malaria and TB combined or any terrorist attack till date. If any other country would have been responsible for so much death, countries would be waging wars against each other. But in this case, its not some other country which is responsible for death on such a large scale, but that country itself.

When a country is under an attack by a foreign force, it spends billions of dollars to offset the attack, but in case of starvation why don't governments do something to prevent it? Is it that the world doesn't produce enough to feed everyone? Mahatma Gandhi's answer to this question would be, “The world has enough for everyone's need, but not enough for everyone's greed.”

The world produces enough food to feed everyone, but most of the food gets wasted. This happens mostly when cooked food gets un-utilized/uneaten or when raw food are fed to livestocks.

Food wastage by being un-utilized/uneaten accounts to 300 million tonnes of food while by feeding to livestocks accounts to nearly 760 million tonnes of food.

We can mitigate the wastage of un-utilized/uneaten food by doing weekly auditing of our grocery so that we don't buy new grocery before consuming the previous ones, by only cooking the amount of food that is actually required, by completely eating what is served in our plates and in the case of excess, by distributing excess of food among the needy.

The wastage of food by feeding to livestocks is the largest part of wastage and which poses severe threat to both, human health and environment.

We feed millions of tonnes of grain to factory farmed animals to filter nutrients through their organs and getting very less amount of food (meat) thus we are wasting a large chunk of food which would have been fed directly to the starving people.

In United States itself, some 95% of soybean and 75% of corn is used as livestock feed in order to produce 1 pound of beef from every 16 pound of grains. If this amount of grain would have fed directly to people, we could have ended world hunger by now.

Out of 22% of the global total Greenhouse gas emission which is caused by the agriculture sector, nearly 80% of it is accounted for the livestock production. As the available technologies for reduction of emissions from livestock production would reduce non-carbon dioxide emissions by less than 20%, we advocate a contraction and convergence strategy to reduce consumption of livestock products, mirroring the widely supported strategy proposed for greenhouse-gas emissions in general.

It is estimated that nearly 70% of the former Latin American forest cover has been cleared for grazing of the livestock, which takes 1/3rd or Earth's entire landmass and hence is the major cause of deforestation.

By choosing a completely plant base diet, we can not only safe billions of animals from terrible fate but will also be able to feed millions of starving people in addition to saving environment from a catastrophic destruction.

Philip Wollen have said, "Every morsel of meat we eat is slapping the tear-stained face of a starving child." Stop using your kitchen knife as an instrument for mass murder. The change is in your hand. Give priority to fork over knives.

Think before you eat and save the planet, humans and animal. Go Vegan!

Commentary On The Ban Of Vishwaroop

If a motion picture can be banned from public display on the pretext that it might hurt the feelings of certain religious communities, shouldn't religion be banned on the context that it has been hurting and has the potency to continue to hurt the feelings of one and all?
If one go through the religious scripture of any and all religion, one would find ample amount of evidence that clearly put forth the point that each and every religion condemns the believers of each and every other religion in addition to condemning non-believers and certain stratum of their own religious community.
Coming back to the point, although I haven't seen the motion picture yet, but what I have heard from the news channel, stating the reason for the ban of the motion picture is that the motion picture speaks about some terrorist organisation outside the political boundary of Indian Republic and some organisation inside the political boundary of Indian Republic feels offended by that.
I don't see any reason why any organisation inside the Indian political boundary should feel offended by whatever has been said about the fictitious/non-fictitious terrorist organisation until and unless they are affiliated to that terrorist organisation outside the Indian political boundary.
Some political organisation are playing political games in order to gain some political mileage out of the whole issue and hence have banned the motion picture from public display in their ruling state on the pretext that the public display of the motion picture will disrupt the law and order situation. Well, in that state, all I have to say is that the anti-social elements who disrupt the law and order situation should be blocked instead of banning the motion picture.
On this context, for the political organisation who have banned Vishwaroop I will quote Benjamin Franklin, "Those who desire to give up freedom in order to gain security will not have, nor do they deserve, either one."
