I heard the angels in the heaven say,
that, "today is an auspicious day,
so in unison let us together pray,
for him who on this day celebrates his birthday."
Today is the birthday of the smartest part of the moon,
who have grown so wise so soon,
it was like yester, that to lighten the world he was born,
just like the mighty sun, which is born every morn.
Let us wish that he lives his life like a king,
and of his greatness the whole world sing,
and that over billions of people he wield a vast and inspiring sway,
and that on this day he be blessed and have a very Happy Birthday!
