My sayings, a collection part II.

~In difficult times, when we ourselves cannot trust our own sanity, then how can we expect others to trust it.

~The biggest problem that is persistent in today's world is that every being, either it be an animal, a woman, a child or anyone else, is looked upon as a property and not as a sentiment living being. It is when we start treating them as a sentiment living being and not as a property, then only most of the problems faced by us today will be solved.

~ Never be afraid of chasing your dream, however dark the path may be. Some point of time in your life you will realize that those dream were the only thing that you had.

~We need money, not to be happy but to buy the idea that we are happy, because in reality, we all are not.

~Never be afraid to talk to a learned man. Even a small conversation can change your life for eternity. And if you do, talk with an open mind.

~Only those who have enemies, needs a friend.

~The problem with being an Alchemist is that by the time you are one, you are not anymore interested in the gold or the elongated life you might get with the philosopher stone and elixir of life you have produced. The only thing that interests you anymore is your undying thirst for knowledge and purity.

~No God is greater than any of the living being, hence no life should be sacrificed/killed in his name.

~If you don't question your faith then your faith is in question.

~There is only one true God. And he is "God", who has no name, no religious followers, who is impartial to all his creatures, who is just God.

~One who smile less, lives less.

~Smile till you are alive, and you will smile for eternity.

~True beauty lie on face and lies in a compassionate heart.

~I fail to understand why the founder (or God) of ANY religion will be so partial to let one of his creation destroy all the other of his beautiful creations. What has these HUMAN done to deserve this partiality? I respect all religion and believe that all the Gods are just to all their creation, not only to human, it is just that we human were unable to get his message carefully in the first place and hence, directly abuse him by making other species suffer in his name.

~If your life is dull and dark, try to make some one smile and that smile of his will brighten your whole life.

~A smile is a source of great power, it has the ability to lighten ones life forever.

~Don't underestimate silence, it has the capability to give rise to great storms.

~Don't underestimate silence, it can give shelter to great storms.

~A smile is all I have, a smile is all I can give and a smile is all that i desire for.

~Hatred and jealousy are not synonyms. Jealousy is only a hypothesis that the other person is superior than you but hatred is a confirmation of his superiority.

~Hatred will kill you and make you exactly like the person you hate.

~Greed spares none, not even its owner.

~Hate has never killed anyone but the beholder.

~The more I know about humans, the more I wish I wouldn't have known them at all.

~X-men are mutants by seeds (birth), Wo-men are mutants by creed, but V-men (Vegans) are mutants by deeds, they have evolved into much compassionate beings. (V>W>X)

~The best way to be happy is by being the source of happiness.

~A beautiful smile sprouts from a compassionate heart.

~Love as if you have no brains so that it doesn't matter to you what you have gained or lost and love as if you have no heart so that it doesn't hurt you in the end!!

~Slaughtering thousands of innocent animals in the name of God is an unforgivable and cowardly sin. Animal liberators target corrupt and evil men who exploit the animals and society and behave barbarically. They never target innocent lives by planting bombs, killing or harassing them. This is what separates an animal liberator from a terrorist. An animal liberator lives to fight and a terrorist hides to live.

~How can someone not be dazed by seeing how people take pleasure in others agony?

~I don't break rules, because i make my own rules.

~Dream as if you are daring and dare as if you are dreaming and you will never fall.

~Partially differentiate the word with respect to yourself to get the much awaited solitude and peace!!

~ Worrying is just a waste a time. You either have the potentials to get out of a situation or you don't. If we have the potentials then however difficult the situation may be, you will find your way out of it and if you don't have potentials then however hard you try, you won't be able to get out of the situation and so whats the point of worrying anyhow?

~ I better be in harmony with myself than with those who don't respect my values.

~ The day we loose our innocence is the day we loose our greatest source of happiness.

~ My professor said that my grades don't shows my intelligence.
Well, my grades don't shows my intelligence because i am too modest to let my grades to show off my intelligence. *sigh*

You May Forget

You may forget my name,
or the field, which was my game,
you may forget who i am,
or what was my life's aim,
you may forget my face,
or the city which was my birth place,
you may forget the things that was for me to claim,
or all those things that brought me to fame,
but never forget the things for which I stood,
even though you may or may not consider it good,
as being a man I should always be known for my ideals,
as these ideals are the one which take me to my state of weal.

You may forget what I said,
or whether I am alive or dead,
you may forget that we were ally,
or whether you considered me a wise guy,
you may forget whether we had ever talked,
or whether we have on a fine morning ever walked,
you may forget that I am your abettor,
or how I wanted your life to be more brighter,
but never forget that I will be always on your side,
and if ever you need me, with you on dangerous path I will ride,
but difficulties in your course is not what I aspire,
as your euphoria is all I desire.

You may forget what you spoke,
and how those words made my heart broke,
you may forget how wildly have you acted,
and how by those act, I have been adversely effected,
you may forget how you tried to got rid,
and how you left me in the mid,
you may forget when in my need, you said good-bye,
and how those actions made me cry,
but never forget that towards you, I don't hold spite,
and even in my low consciousness, I don't intend to smite,
and never forget that, for your deeds, you have been purged,
and all I want for you is that, may you be blessed.

Events and greetings

November 1st- International Vegan Day

Lets mark this day in the honor of all those grieving mother cows who lost their young ones just for a glass of milk because we are too stubborn to get over our obsession with dairy, for all those lonely chickens who lost their loved ones just for a piece of there legs because we are too timid to find any other way to treat our taste buds and for all those innocent lives who lost their lives or the lives of their loved ones just to please a superpower who holds apathy to the agony of others because we are too meek to question him and our faith.
Happy International Vegan Day!!

When the words lost its meaning.

In the midst of the storm, stood I,
and tears came flowing down my eyes,
by knowing that it is useless speaking,
now, since the words has lost its meaning.

Trying hard to look into the past,
wondering what my memory will cast,
I saw myself doing a morning walk,
with a person with whom i had to talk.

There were lots of thing I was suppose to say,
before the very death of the day,
being uncertain that before the next day will dawn,
that person will be here or else be gone.

Despite feeling very meek,
I opened my mouth to speak,
there were lots of words which I uttered,
but out of them, was there any word which really mattered?

A lots of word were still left unspoken,
as if they would have had broken,
the heart of person whom I care,
and ultimately laying them bare.

On a contrary it would have made his day,
but still those were the word which i was unable to say,
as if I was surrounded by some fear,
as he was the one whom I hold dear.

Next dawn, I suddenly got out of my snooze,
with a very terrible and heart shaking news,
he was forever gone, never to return,
giving me sensation of a heart burn.

There were a lots of things I wanted to tell,
which now can only be done by a knell,
that I wanted him to be awesome,
and to make him blossom.

And to be merry,
so that his nights would be bright and starry.
That I only wanted to conciliate,
and never to repudiate.

But those are the words that will now remain unspoken,
making my spirit even more sunken,
and my nights much more dark,
filling it with a sound similar to hound's bark.

In the midst of the storm, standing I,
and still the tears flowing down my eyes,
knowing that I am still so meek,
that I won't be able to speak.

But I have to gather some dare,
to show how much I care,
and how much I appreciate,
so as to make him rejuvenate.

This time I had to tell,
as I don't want to knell,
and to make it useless speaking,
and to make the words loose its meaning.

Speak before it becomes useless speaking,
speak before the words loose its meaning,
speak before the very end,
speak before you will condemn.

Smile!

Smile,
not because you fell,
but because you can rise,
just smile.

Smile,
not because you failed,
but because you can try again,
just smile.

Smile,
not because it ended,
but because it happened,
just smile.

Smile,
not because he is dead,
but because he ever lived,
just smile.

Smile,
not because you are not being loved,
but because you can still love,
just smile.

Smile,
not because you are alone,
but because you are with yourself,
just smile.

Smile,
not because you can't trust anyone,
but because you can be trusted by everyone,
just smile.

Smile,
not because you are hurt,
but because your wounds can heal,
just smile.

Smile,
not because you are sad,
but because you can be happy,
just smile.

Smile,
not because i am asking you to smile,
but because you can smile a beautiful smile,
just smile.

Nature's Teaching

I came to a sudden halt,
while walking on asphalt,
when my mind was flooded with thought,
that, "is my life really worth?"

There was nothing in my life that I haven't gain,
and there was not even a single trace of pain.
But I felt that there was someone in my life who was missing,
and that was the one who would provide me with his teachings.

In my mind a lots of questions were being raised,
that, "is education all about getting good grades?
If it is, then in a world full of witty,
why is there so much apathy?"

So I asked the lord to provide me with a teach,
who will bring my goodness in my reach.
The lord said that you are surrounded with such gems,
its just that you are unable to recognize them.

He asked me to take a walk into the wood,
so as to find someone who will teach me some good.
I did as he had told,
and went into forest to find some gold.

There i saw a blood smeared ape,
who was trying to get back into shape.
He was trying to rise after falling from a tree that was tall,
and taught me how to rise after a great fall.

I walked a little further to find an old man,
who was being secluded by his own clan,
but he stood happy even in the plight,
and taught me how to make a dull day bright.

After walking further a mile,
I saw something that made me smile,
there were some cows, whose milk humans do steal,
were all trying so that those humans wound can be healed.

And the chicken, whom these human kill,
where bringing water from the bottom of the hill,
so that the injured humans can take a potation,
and thus in a way, taught me an act of compassion.

I felt hungry by the time I reached the forest end,
and found a man with whom I soon became friend,
by providing food to my hungry self he was being fair,
and taught me how a friend takes care.

With that i came out of the coppice,
so as to surmise,
that there is so many teachers around us,
whom we are unable to trust.

By the end of the whole walk, I came to a conclusion,
that a teacher teaches us to smile, care and to show compassion,
and is not merely someone who makes us earn our food,
but are also the ones who makes us good.

A plea of a friend.

If my memory is serving me well,
I remember meeting you in hell,
hell because the events that have taken place,
and because the mighty God didn't showed you his grace.

As we were almost about to be friend,
that's the event i wish would have never happened,
I wish that time you would have known,
that i am the person for whom your mom said no.

As we were going to take the oath,
of being friend from that day forth,
I wish i would have told you then,
that by being my friend you will repent.

And together as we were growing old,
I wish i would have been a little more bold,
I wish i would have shown you who actually i am,
so as to save you from all those embarrassment.

That day when you were relying on me,
I don't know how you failed to see,
that someday i will let you down,
and being with me will make you look like a clown.

That day when you asked me for a small favor,
I wonder how you didn't notice that i began to waver,
in my deeds i was not being fair,
as if something was making me scare.

That day when you were all alone,
you were desperately trying to reach me on my phone,
I wonder how you didn't had a clue,
that i was trying to ignore you.

That day when i was supposed to take your side,
I made you stand alone in the fight,
and when you were surrounded by the hound,
instead of helping you, i was home bound.

That is why i din't want you to be my friend,
as i don't want to start a new trend,
of being a friend, only because of greed,
and not being with you in the time of need.

Thus i put forward my plea,
hoping that you will forgive me,
as i always wanted to make you glad,
but somehow i always made you sad.

I wish i would have shown you much more care,
and for you i would have done much more prayer,
And I would like you to know,
that i was never your foe.

I always wished the best of you,
and you were the best person in my view,
but the things never went our way,
and that is why i want to say.

That you should be friend with some other person,
so that the thing don't get much worsen,
and that is why i will always be saying,
that i am a friend you will regret having.

The flowing tears.

During the dark,
sitting in the park,
performing the silent prayer,
asking the lord for much more care,
i saw drops of water in motion,
and called them into question,
"Who art thou and why dost thou flow?"
"We art tears,
and we cometh hither to maketh thou hear,
that thou can get us shed, whence thy loving ones maketh thou sad",
the drops of water in motion said.
Replied I, "why should i groan,
whence my loved ones art the reason for my moan,
there is no reason why i should lament,
if they art unable to return sentiment 'gainst my sentiment,
they don't deserves these tears,
if they don't hold me dear.
And if i am dear to them,
as they art to me,
they won't bring into being,
the things that will cause me suffering,
and if their actions maketh me weep,
it is because the good wherein i am unable to see,
so i ask thou why shalt i shed tears,
as the ones who hold me dear,
will feel very bad,
seeing me all sad."
Tears said, "from the aforementioned,
i cometh to a conclusion,
that tears art all vain,
as nothing from it that thou can gain."

Being on the grass,
beside my loved one's carcass,
sitting on the ground,
making spiritual sound,
asking the lord for his salvation,
i saw drops of water in motion,
and questioned, "Who art thou and why dost thou flow?"
They said, "We art tears,
and we cometh hither to maketh thou hear,
that thou can get us shed,
whence thy loving ones art dead."
Replied I, "why should i yammer,
when my loved one hast goneth to meet thy maker,
instead i should cheer,
as the one whom we hold dear,
is forsaken from all the worldly pain,
and is free to play his own game,
being able to fly high above in the skies,
far away from all the worldly cries,
and if from above he doth see me sad,
i know for sure that he will feel bad,
for him i should always wear a cheer,
as for him this is the burden i should always bear."
Tears said, "from the aforementioned,
i cometh to a conclusion,
that tears art all vain,
as it cause nothing but great pain."

I wish you enough « Paulo Coelho's Blog

Recently I overheard a father and daughter in their last moments together at the airport. They had announced the departure.
Standing near the security gate, they hugged and the father said, ‘I love you, and I wish you enough.’

They kissed and the daughter left. The father walked over to the window where I was seated. I tried not to intrude on his privacy, but I could not refrain from asking:
‘When you were saying good-bye, I heard you say, ‘I wish you enough.’ May I ask what that means?’

He began to smile. ‘That’s a wish that has been handed down from other generations. My parents used to say it to everyone.’
He paused a moment and looked up as if trying to remember it in detail, and he smiled even more.
‘When we said, ‘I wish you enough,’ we were wanting the other person to have a life filled with just enough good things to sustain them.’
Then turning toward me, he shared the following as if he were reciting it from memory.

I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright no matter how gray the day may appear.

I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun even more..

I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive and everlasting.

I wish you enough pain so that even the smallest of joys in life may appear bigger.

I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting…

I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.

I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final good- bye.

A swift transition from a Vegetarian to a Vegan!!

There is nothing in our life called bad times. Its only a perception. Only good time & better time exist. The time which we consider bad time are actually better time of our life. Bad time are the best teacher we can ever have, they teach us the thing that nobody can ever teach us. So its up to us whether we perceive it as bad time & waste our life thinking why we had it or as better time and learn something out of it. A similar such event happened with me which made me think in a new light. Bad times are not necessary the times in which any bad happens to us but are also the ones in which we do something bad upon others intentionally or unintentionally.
Till the end on 2009, i used to be a Vegetarian and was in vain that i do not inflict any harm on others, but one fine day while i was discussing the ill-effects of a non-vegetarian diet with a non-vegetarian friend of mine, i realized that there is an element of "bad" in vegetarian diet also. I visited the dairy farm the following day and saw how we use/harass/torture the cattle animals in order to get dairy product out of them. Being an animal lover, it completely shattered me and i decided to go Vegan.
But this decision of mine which i recently had taken was something which was not "kids stuff" for me as i belong to a society where, unfortunately, after a brief history of non-violence, people where turning violent by adopting a diet that involves harm to others. Further, being a person who completely loved milk product and who "literally" used to survive completely on lacto diet, consuming nothing other than at least 1.5 Lt. of lacto product on a daily basis, Veganism was some thing really hard for me but the thing that kept me going was the consideration that how can i harm the source of the thing i love completely.
Being a part of a society where Cows are respected as much as our mothers are and where the milk products are considered holy and where it is an integral part of religious ceremony, excluding it from my life was difficult. People here are of the view that cows are like our mother. If it is so then i ask them to visit the dairy farm and see for themselves how these "mothers" are treated, how they are chained, made to stand in their own feces, injected with oxotocin so that they can milk more, and are made to bear many other inhuman treatment (check PETA India site or a blog by a Vegan for more detail, as i am not feeling it right to discuss here now about the things of which you don't even considers checking morality, maybe some next time) which, if you truly love your mother, won't ever want to happen to her. So how can we tag a cow as a mother if we continue to treat her like that or how can we do all this stuff if we respect her as a mother?
Now, they say cow is divine, if it is so, then how can we make her bear so much pain that we inflict on her in order to get some milk, or if we inflict so much pain on her how can we call her divine? I don't know whether she is like a mother or divine, all i know is that she don't deserve the wrong that happens to her.
People also talk about the implication of Veganism on health raising the question that from where would i be getting all the required nutrients and vitamins, highlighting the rumor that Vegan are pale and weak. Well, to this i can say that its a complete lie that Vegans are weak because i have been a Vegan now for almost one whole year and i am happy to say that by managing the diet properly, including all necessary minerals and vitamin Vegan source in my diet, i am much healthier in addition to being much happier than i was when i was a Vegetarian.
So, i will like to end this with saying that you don't deserve the wrong you do, so Go Vegan!!
